Melanie Jasmine, is a full-time costume designer and educator based in the DFW area. MJ has been sewing and making costumes for the last 12 years, and playing an active role in the cosplay community across the US.Some of her more notorious work features iconic portrayals of characters such as Sombra and Symmetra, working with voice actors to transform them into their characters and winning several costuming awards across the US and South America Melanie Jasmine has participated in a variety of projects in the sewing and costuming industry. Some of the projects include features in the film industry, such as Into the Dark II and Morgan’s Mask. Within the gaming industry, Melanie Jasmine has worked with Dreamhack, Blizzard, Dallas Fuel, OWL, Lootcrate, and Coca-Cola. MJ specializes in sewing, garment making, wig styling, and 3D printing. She is well known for her incredibly fast turnaround time in making complicated, high-quality, and screen-accurate costumes.
