S1 E4 The Cosplay Crunch w/ Viverra

Get into the full Fallout fantasy, because this week for episode 4 we are joined by Viverra! Zavage and Viverra discuss her background training in professional fashion design, the reality of having your cosplay go viral, the changes to the Texas convention scene from the mid 2000’s to 2024, convention hotel horror stories, qualifications for cosplay judges, and attending local vs. large out of state conventions.

Viverra/Meaghan, is a Texas cosplay veteran and has been cosplaying for 19 years. She attended her first anime convention wearing her first cosplay in 2005. Because of her love of cosplay, she decided to pursue a degree in Fashion Design and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Design in 2013. Viverra has cosplayed everything from anime to movies to video games. Her specialization lies in sewing with skills also in leatherworking, 3D printing, foam work, etc. Her favorite aspect of cosplay is the community and all the friends she has made over the years. She currently works in the craft supply industry and even has a photo of her cosplay in the office building she works in.
